Brett Freer was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Regional Livestock Exchanges (RLX) in November 2022, following the strategic decision to bring management services in-house. This move marked a significant step in the company's evolution, signalling the next phase of RLX's maturity and its future growth potential.


Brett brings a wealth of experience to his role as an accomplished executive in agribusiness, infrastructure, and logistics. He has held a range of Director and Senior Executive positions at leading organisations such as Nutrien Ag Solutions, Landmark, and AWH.


Throughout his career, Brett has led large-scale transformation initiatives, managed an extensive network of bulk handling infrastructure assets, and driven mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activity from initial identification through to successful integration. Additionally, he has held several prominent Board positions, further expanding his leadership expertise. Prior to his executive roles, Brett worked as a senior consultant in the corporate strategy division at PwC, where he contributed his expertise in guiding complex business strategies.


Outside of his professional endeavours, Brett is also the owner of a small cattle farm near Mansfield in Victoria, where he actively engages in the agricultural industry. With a deep passion for Australian agriculture, he is dedicated to advancing the industry's long-term economic and environmental sustainability, recognising the vital role it plays in supporting regional communities and contributing to the nation's prosperity.

General Manager Northern Region

Greg Krarup is the Northern General Manager for RLX, responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational performance of six key livestock exchange sites across Northern New South Wales and Queensland — CQLX in Gracemere, IRLX in Inverell, TRLX in Tamworth, HRLX in Singleton, CTLX in Carcoar, and SELX in Yass. He was appointed to the role in November 2023 and brings with him more than two decades of deep industry experience.


Greg is a highly regarded livestock and beef supply chain professional with a comprehensive understanding of both domestic and international markets. His career has included senior leadership positions with some of Australia’s most respected beef companies, including Rangers Valley, Teys Australia, and NH Foods. Across these roles, Greg has played a pivotal part in developing and executing premium livestock procurement strategies tailored to meet the evolving needs of global export markets, particularly in high-value segments such as marbled branded beef destined for the EU.


His extensive involvement in branded beef programs has seen him lead the design and rollout of high-integrity sourcing frameworks that align with strict export requirements, while also building strong producer networks across eastern Australia. Greg is known for his ability to blend technical livestock production knowledge with strategic market insight, creating value-driven programs that support long-term growth and quality assurance in the beef sector.


Beyond his operational and commercial expertise, Greg has also contributed to broader industry and regional development. He has served on various local and state business boards in regional NSW, offering a strategic voice in agriculture-focused economic initiatives and regional planning efforts. His commitment to industry advancement is matched by a practical understanding of rural communities and the critical role livestock exchanges play in supporting both producers and supply chains.

General Manager Southern Region

Tim Keys is the Southern General Manager at RLX, where he plays a key leadership role in overseeing the operations and performance of four major regional facilities: NVLX, GVLX, CVLX, and WVLX. Since stepping into this role in 2022, Tim has provided strong mentoring, guidance, and leadership to site-based teams, with a focus on operational excellence, safety, staff development, and stakeholder engagement.


Tim originally joined RLX in 2017 as the Business Manager at NVLX, where he was instrumental in shaping operational processes, building strong relationships with livestock agents and producers, and driving improvements in site performance. His transition into the Southern General Manager role was a natural progression, reflecting his capability to lead at scale and his deep understanding of both the livestock industry and RLX’s business model.


Tim brings with him extensive leadership experience across a diverse range of industries including transport, agribusiness, retail, food manufacturing, and consulting. Prior to joining RLX, he held senior roles with Ron Finemore Transport, Rivalea, Woolworths, Uncle Tobys, and Accenture. This diverse background has given Tim a broad skill set and a unique ability to lead teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.


A key strength of Tim’s is his rare combination of hands-on livestock and saleyard operational knowledge, paired with strong commercial acumen and strategic business management skills. His practical understanding of saleyard operations and livestock flow enables him to engage meaningfully with frontline teams, while his leadership experience allows him to drive broader business outcomes and deliver value across the RLX network.

Adam commenced the role of Business Unit Manager at TRLX in August 2024, after 18months within the RLX company. He started with TRLX as a casual sale day operator riding pens and was offered the position of Assistant Manager in August 2023. He has played a key role within the business, developing and implementing a conscious safety culture and aiding in the roll out of an effective staff recruitment, retention, training & management process.

 

Adam grew up in Gunnedah NSW, where his family have a strong connection within the local industry, with his father Barry spent many years working for Martins Stock Haulage. Adam has a strong background in Agriculture after previous roles with Performance Feeds, Elders and Metalcorp, all  being livestock focused. His passion for safety was derived after a workplace injury in 2005, where he had his right leg amputated. 

During his early years Adam spent time in the USA working in feedlots and horse training facilities in Texas as well as on a ranch in the high desert region of Arizona.

 

Adam & his wife operate their own small farm raising local bred Angus cattle. He enjoys team roping & rodeoing on weekends when he is away from site. Adam & Becky also operate their own Allied Health clinics in Tamworth & Port Macquarie. They have 3 kids who are dance & rugby league mad!!

Jeff Paull

Jeff Paull was appointed Business Unit Manager at CVLX in June 2021 at the height of the COVID pandemic.
His more than 30 years of experience in managing people and processes steered CVLX through that tough period and has laid the foundation for the site’s operations today.


Jeff comes from an FMCG, and manufacturing background having held National Sales & Marketing roles with large Australian manufacturers.


His academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce, a Master of Marketing, Diploma in Workplace Health & Safety.


Product development has been a passion and in more recent years that turned to people development.


During his tenure at CVLX, staff retention and development has been a major focus and continues to provide positive outcomes for the site.


Jeff has a strong history of community involvement including District Manager for Auskick, Tournament Director for Baseball Australia, a qualified sailing and powerboat instructor, and has served on more committees and boards than he cares to remember. Prior to joining CVLX, he retired from his other passion, the Australian Navy Cadets, where he was the Flotilla Commander for Victoria, with the rank of Lieutenant Commander.


When not at CVLX Jeff can be found playing in the local community concert band, heading to the beach, or working on his very ordinary golf game.

Adam commenced as CFO for RLX in July 2024.

 

Having spent considerable portion of his younger years on the family farm in central NSW (livestock and broadacre cropping), Adam has since built a diverse career in financial advisory, investment management and executive management across a range of industries and in listed/unlisted businesses.  

Agribusiness has always been a central focus for Adam. His experience has included advising, leading or executing transaction for operating businesses and assets throughout the supply chain within horticulture, cropping, livestock, fertilisers, dairy processing, packhouses, water infrastructure and water trading. 

Adam’s formal qualifications include undergraduate degrees in commerce and law as well as post-graduate qualifications in chartered accounting,  corporate governance and financial services compliance.

Off the clock, you’ll usually find Adam enjoying the great outdoors with his family, on the tools around the house and garage, or on the golf course.

Julia Dwyer was appointed Head of People, Culture & Compliance of Regional Livestock Exchanges (RLX) in December 2024 managing end to end HR, Safety and Payroll.


Julia is an experienced Human Resources Professional with over 20 year's experience in Agribusiness, Retail, FMCG and Banking industries.


At RLX, Julia has been focused on reviewing and updating HR processes, systems and building a sustainable people focused operation. This has included implementing a new LMS, resolving complex Employee relations and workers compensation issues and bringing the payroll function in house with a new payroll system and reintroducing discipline back into Safety processes, audits, and reporting ensuring our system match our operations and keep our people safe.


Previous Agribusiness experience was also gained for 7 years a Nutrien supporting the Corporate and Southeast regions as the senior HR executive. During this time Julia was HR lead in M&A activities, culture change programs, managing employee relations issues and upskilling managers while working with centre of excellence teams to deliver programs supporting the client group needs.


Outside of Agribusiness, Julia was the Human Resource Manager for Australia and New Zealand at Lavazza Group and spent 7 years at multiple roles at Coles, Kmart & Target covering HR planning, talent
management, Safety and HR metrics and well as generalist HR management. For 1 year Julia also worked
at the National Australia Bank focused on Talent development programs from graduate to middle
management level.

After first commencing employment with RLX back in 2015 as an administrative assistant in a part-time role, Michelle identified the need to provide support to other RLX sites and subsequently progressed quickly to becoming a full-time IRLX employee where she was utilised for several administration and accounting roles across multiple RLX sites in the portfolio. Michelle was appointed IRLX Business Unit Manager in June 2023 and promoted to Northern Regional Safety Coordinator in November 2024.

Michelle’s career began back in 1995 working for the local abattoir, formally known as Bindaree Beef across various plant operational roles and administration roles. From there, she moved into logistics to become the National Logistics Coordinator for Supercoat Petfood, Production Auditor for Ridley Aquafeed and Back of House Manager for the local Telstra Store.

Michelle lives locally in Inverell on the farm she established with her husband and two daughters. When not at IRLX, Michelle spends most of her weekends living in a horse float supporting her daughters’ equine ambitions and achievements.

Anthony Huntly is the Facilities and Project Manager at RLX, where he brings strong leadership, practical problem-solving, and deep technical expertise to the role. Known for his ability to drive efficiency and implement sustainable systems, Anthony has become a trusted leader across the network. His strengths in asset management, strategic planning, and cross-site coordination have enhanced consistency and performance across RLX operations.


Prior to this, Anthony was Road Transport Manager at Landmark/Nutrien, where he demonstrated strong systems thinking and regulatory knowledge. He successfully built a compliant and efficient in-house transport unit and supported broader logistics growth, drawing on his deep understanding of industry standards and operational risk.


At GrainCorp, Anthony led major transport and maintenance functions over a 20-year period, showing strengths in business building, innovation, and team leadership. He created high-performing systems, improved safety and compliance company-wide, and played a key role in integrating acquired businesses into GrainCorp operations.


Anthony’s early career in site development and transport operations laid the foundation for his hands-on, solution-focused approach. Across every role, he has demonstrated a consistent ability to improve processes, reduce costs, and lead teams through change, making him a valuable asset to RLX and the broader industry.

Environment & Sustainability Manager

Steven Fox joined RLX in July 2023 as the Environment and Sustainability Manager, bringing with him over 14 years experience in environmental management and sustainable development across the agricultural and agribusiness sectors. In his role at RLX, Steven is responsible for ensuring environmental compliance across all RLX facilities and operations, driving resource efficiency, and leading the development and execution of the group’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy.


Steven plays a pivotal role in embedding sustainability across RLX’s operations. His work includes developing and maintaining environmental management systems, conducting site assessments and compliance audits, preparing regulatory reports, and coordinating group-wide initiatives that support RLX’s long-term environmental objectives. He provides strategic oversight and technical support for matters relating to environmental approvals, licensing, waste and water management, biodiversity, and energy use.


Throughout his career, Steven has held senior environmental roles within the agricultural industry, covering a diverse range of sectors including meat processing and feedlot operations, forestry, and agricultural chemicals and pharmaceuticals. His experience includes managing environmental risk, developing greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories and emissions reduction plans, and overseeing the implementation and maintenance of environmental certification programs.


Steven has a proven track record in engaging with regulatory authorities and stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and proactive issue resolution. His practical knowledge is complemented by a strong strategic focus, allowing him to balance day-to-day operational needs with long-term sustainability goals.


In addition to his technical expertise, Steven is passionate about continuous improvement and innovation in sustainability. He is committed to building a culture of environmental responsibility across RLX and supporting the business in making informed, forward-looking decisions that align with both regulatory obligations and community expectations.

Ben Tuddenham

Ben has been Head of Corporate Development at RLX since mid-2024, after initially joining a year prior as the project manager for the Yass and Mortlake integration. Ben's role leads a key pillar of the RLX growth strategy, including portfolio expansion, lease renewal initiatives, and growth projects focused on maximising asset utilisation and earnings diversification. These have included a broad range of initiatives, including the bulk fuel project, telecommunication tower integration and other growth initiatives.


Prior to RLX, Ben’s career began at an ASX-listed Technology consulting company, and for 20 years consulted to some of the world's largest companies in over 15 countries. These spanned a broad range of roles, including Project and Account Management, HR, Investor Relations and Commercial Management. Ben was a member of the Leadership team for over 10 years.


Ben has also enjoyed consulting for several Melbourne-based companies in the Biotech and EV car space to improve their operational efficiency and mature their operational process to help them transition to their next phase.


Ben originally completed a Bachelor of Business Systems at Monash University in 2002, became a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2008, and holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance & Investment, awarded by FINSIA in 2007.


Ben’s first experience in agriculture started on his grandparents’ merino wool farm outside of Geelong and hisuncle’s dairy farm in Shepparton.

Victor Kroussoratis (Vic) joined RLX in April 2024 as the ICT & Systems Manager, a newly created role developed to meet the organisation’s growing need for technology leadership and strategic data analysis.


Vic brings a career-long background in technology, with recent roles spanning the financial and professional services sectors, superannuation, government, and the not-for-profit space. While new to agriculture, Vic has enthusiastically "taken the bull by the horns" to understand the unique technological and systems needs of RLX, helping to drive both current and future innovation.


He also leads new team appointments to support RLX’s expanding data analytics capability. His focus is on transforming data into actionable insights that support better decision-making for both internal stakeholders and RLX customers.


Outside of work, Vic enjoys family life and takes pride in watching his three children excel in athletics and theatre. A tinkerer at heart, he also spends his downtime working on home technology projects.

Anna Adams

Anna Adams

Anna has been working in the Livestock industry since 2005, in both Australia and Canada. For 15 years, Anna’s key stakeholders have been livestock agents, buyers and producers, in roles encompassing Operations, Training, Product Management, Sales, and Customer Engagement. Anna has experience working in both physical and online livestock sales channels, before commencing with RLX in 2023 spent three years focused on the saleyard sector and ensuring positive outcomes for vendors and buyers during the Covid pandemic.

Anna understands the importance of relationships in the agricultural industry and she has developed trusted working relationships with stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes for all parties involved in livestock transactions.

Originally from the Hunter Valley, Anna spent much of her childhood time of a family dairy farm with both cattle and horses. She now lives near Bathurst NSW with her young family, with enough space for kids motorbikes and a few head of cattle.
